Outside of school, Kevin has demonstrated a deep commitment to civic life. In addition to his role on the Lookout Mountain City Council, he volunteers with the city's fire department and assists the public works team in supporting the place he calls home. His appointment as vice mayor is a meaningful recognition of that ongoing service.

Leckenby's appointment as vice mayor happened during the Lookout Mountain City Council meeting on Thursday, January 8. His new role was recently noted in a write-up by Chattanoogan.com.
