Make it in Minecraft
Come make it in Minecraft with us using Minecraft Education Edition, an immersive game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Campers will start by building simple homes, completing redstone challenges, and designing medieval castles to develop and sharpen Minecraft skills. They will then use those skills to design a luxury beach resort as they work collaboratively in large multi-player worlds to build and design a resort complete with guest rooms, shops, restaurants, a movie theater, and more!
Meet the Masters
From Wayne Thiebaud's cupcakes to Yayoi Kusama's dotted flowers, we paint, draw, and sculpt our own masterpieces, in the form of the masters themselves. Children have the opportunity to work on canvas, paper, and wood, all while exploring both their imaginations and artistic techniques. While bringing their ideas to life, children not only work on fine motor, but also on their understanding of the possibilities in art. Projects are tailored to the age and ability of each child; once projects are complete, the children have time to explore in the art room!
Swim
St. Nicholas offers swim lessons for campers of all ages and ability. Lessons are two-week sessions that last 30 minutes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Students are grouped by age and ability. Classes affected by the weather are rescheduled whenever possible. Times vary. Classes are scheduled between 9:00-11:00am or 3:30-4:30pm.
