Athletics
Athletics at St. Nicholas
For St. Nicholas students, being a Wave takes on a new meaning when they step onto the field, court, or course. Our athletics program gives elementary students the experience of representing their school, competing alongside classmates, and learning what it means to contribute to a team.
From the first cross-country meet of fall through the final spring match, students get the chance to compete while they’re still at an age when playing should feel like playing.
Find Your Sport
St. Nicholas offers team sports throughout the school year, giving students opportunities to compete, practice together, and represent the Waves.

Team Philosophy
Coaches work to make playing time as equal as possible for all players over the course of the season. Because the team plays 9v9, roster size may affect how playing time is managed. If participation is especially high, coaches will communicate with families about the best path forward.
2026 Game Schedule
The end-of-season tournament will take place during the week of November 2–6. Travel to opponents’ fields will be determined by final standings.
