An Episcopal Education That Goes The Distance

At St. Nicholas School, we believe every child deserves access to a joyful, whole-child education, regardless of where they live. That's why we offer daily bus service from Chattanooga’s Northshore and from Dalton, Georgia, making our East Brainerd campus more accessible than ever for our students.

A Ride You Can Count On

No more scrambling to make drop-off or rearranging your afternoon for pickup. Our dependable bus service runs on time, every time, giving your family a smoother start and end to the day.

Each bus is staffed by trusted adults, equipped with seat belts, and can accommodate booster seats for younger riders.

Frees Up Time For Your Family

Between early meetings and evening obligations, fitting in school drop-off and pickup can be a real challenge, especially with the ongoing I-75/I-24 interchange construction near East Ridge.

Our bus service helps working families skip the traffic nightmare and save valuable time.

A Calm Start & End To The Day

Mornings can be rushed. Afternoons can be chaotic. Our bus rides give your child a peaceful transition between home and school: a chance to ease into their day, connect with friends, and arrive more centered and ready to learn.

With one less thing to worry about, it's a great way to begin and end the school day.

Why Families & Students Love The Bus

“We love St. Nicholas so much that we would’ve made the drive if we had to, but the bus service from Northshore has made everything easier. It’s not just convenient, it’s a whole experience our kids genuinely enjoy. We’re so grateful to everyone who makes it possible. It’s helped the school fit more seamlessly into our daily lives.”

—Austin Starkey & Kathleen Harrison, Parents of Adam '29 & Josephine '32

"I love the bus. I get to talk with my friends and sometimes, when I'm really tired, I get to take a nap!"

—Faith Fiorello, STNS Student '25

"The St. Nicholas bus service has reliably and safely allowed us to obtain our dream education for our children. Without its support, balancing all the logistics of a young family and multiple schools would be hard to manage! The program leaders are easy to work and communicate with, and truly have been supportive."

— Rachel & Julian, Parents of Arthur '29
