St. Nicholas is as enthusiastic to introduce its program to interested parents as prospective families are eager to learn about St. Nicholas. Therefore, the process through which parents acknowledge their interest in St. Nicholas School is truly simple and friendly.
The admission office welcomes inquiries at any time during the school year. For families interested in enrolling for the following school year, fall is the ideal time to send applications and visit the campus.

Admission Policy
The St. Nicholas admission policy was adopted by the board of trustees in September 1985. Revisions were approved in June 1998.
The St. Nicholas admission process is a competitive process through which we accept:
a) the child who is capable of functioning independently; and
b) the child who demonstrates an average or above average level of
readiness skills.
These criteria are listed in order of priority. However, St. Nicholas does offer a program in which certified-gifted children may thrive, but giftedness is not a criterion for admission.
Having qualified as set forth above, siblings of currently enrolled students will be granted immediate admission. Special consideration in the admission process will be given to any qualified Episcopalian in good standing in his/her parish and to children of former St. Nicholas students. Diversity of socioeconomic, racial, cultural, and religious areas will be emphasized in the admission policy.
